In ‘Paying The Price’ Pilger travels to Iraq with Denis Halliday, a former assistant secretary-general of the United Nations, to uncover the devastating effects of the West’s economic sanctions.
In ‘Palestine Is Still The Issue’, Pilger returns to the Occupied Territories of the West Bank and Gaza where he filmed a documentary with the same title 28 years earlier. He finds the basic problems unchanged: a desperate, destitute people whose homeland is illegally occupied by the world’s fourth biggest military power.
